However, I don't know whether running it will target the LocalApp install or the regular install, for example, maybe it will consult the registry instead of acting on the current path. ![]() Within the Mozilla Firefox program folder, there is a folder named uninstall that has a program named helper.exe - that is the uninstall program. I am uncomfortable about deleting files for an application without going thru the app's uninstall exe which is not provided, or win 10 uninstall. I know the solution is probably to delete the app on win 10 but I only get an option to refresh, only. It has been like this for several weeks so nothing is pending. ![]() (Office can lose the ability to open links if the default browser is moved from its last known location.) If the AppData\Local installation is very recent, you may want to do a normal shutdown and restart of Windows to make sure any transient privilege issues are resolved before taking further action.īefore deleting any installations, if you have Microsoft Office installed, I suggest changing your default browser to Internet Explorer.
